Now it so happened that on the night prior to departing for Varanasi Rashmoni envisioned a dream in which she saw Maa Kali, who told her that there was no need to go to Kashi, and thereby encouraged her to construct a temple on the banks of the River Ganges. This dream had huge impact on Rani, and as a result she brought a 20 acre plot upon which she built a huge temple complex dedicated to Maa Kali. In addition, to the complex being dedicated to the goddess she also ensured that it contained temples also dedicated to Lord Shiva and the immortal duo of Radha-Krishna.
