Malik Dinar Masjid
Located in Kerala is an historical Muslim shrine founded by Malik Deenar, a close aide of Prophet Muhammad himself is a masjid/mosque called Malik Dinar. This mosque considered to be an important “Islamic center” is located in the Kasaragod district. Apparently this mosque comprises of the tomb of Malik Deenar. In addition, this mosque is known for its beautiful Kerala architecture. Furthermore, the interior of this mosque comprises of exquisitely designed carvings in the Arabic language. A festival to commemorate the arrival of Deenar himself in this region is organized at this mosque annually.

According to popular myth there was a man a close friend of Prophet Muhammad called Malik Ibn Deenar who apparently introduced Islam to Kerala and throughout the country. In addition, to propagating the religion Islam, Deenar also build a number mosques in Kerala which includes this mosque i.e. Malik Dinar Masjid. In addition, the arrival of Deenar on the shores of Kerala is celebrated in the form of a festival at this mosque annually.
