Hutheesing Jain Temple

Administered by the “Hutheesing Family Trust” is a renowned Jain temple known as the Hutheesing Jain Temple. This temple is located in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat.  It was in the year 1848 that this temple was constructed. It is devoted to the 15th Tirthankar of the Jain religion known as “Dharmanatha”. Important travel information regarding this “Jain temple” is as follows.

c. Religious significance:

This popular Jain pilgrimage site was built by a rich merchant called Seth Hutheesing as an ode to the 15th tirthankar of the Jain religion known as Dharmanatha while, the construction of this site was carried out by the wife of the Seth, Sethani Harkunvar. This temple also consists of a unique column of honour i.e. Manastambha which has been inspired from the Jain Manastambha and Kirtistambha that are located in Rajasthan.
